When the stylus is displaced radially or axially by an external force, the trigger unit is activated.
The probe’s internal circuit sends a trigger signal to the receiver, which then transmits it to the machine.
The current coordinates of each machine axis are automatically recorded.
Measurement results are finally calculated from the coordinate data of the relevant points.
