Smart Cell: Intelligent Manufacturing Unit for High- Mix & Low Volume Production
The Smart Cell will be showcased at Booth E2-B401 of CCMT 2026 from April 21 to 25.
At this exhibition, we partner with the Tenoly MT-850B horizontal 5-axis turn-mill machining center to demonstrate a flexible manufacturing cell for High- Mix & Low Volume scenarios, featuring seamless switching between three different workpieces.
This cell integrates the Smart Box machine data collector, zero-point positioning system, robot, and SMT intelligent software. The Smart Box monitors and analyzes machine status and parameters in real time; the zero-point positioning system and fixtures enable ultra-fast changeover; the software automatically dispatches machining jobs based on live data from machines, tools, and inspection. It achieves unmanned production for High- Mix & Low Volume machining, raises machine utilization and throughput, and delivers highly consistent, high-precision machining of complex parts.
The Smart Cell typically forms a compact unmanned manufacturing unit with 1–3 machines. It can be ordered with new machines or used to quickly retrofit existing machines. For full production lines and workshops, we also supply cleaning stations, CMMs, AGVs, AMRs, vertical storage systems, and more to build complete smart lines and smart workshops.
